Orkut sends you scrap notification emails each time someone posts a scrap in your scrapbook. Not only in the case of scraps, but also you get email notifications for testimonials, messages, new friend requests etc. This is really annoying when you get a lots of email notifications everyday from Orkut. Now you can check your Orkut scraps from your RSS reader without logging in to your Orkut profile. If you want to hide your online status and don’t want to tell your Orkut friends about your online presence, then this is the best way to read your and other’s scraps. All you need is to have a RSS feed account and set it to pull out your Orkut scraps. When this is done, you can check your Orkut scraps from your browser without signing into your Orkut profile.

Orkut treats spamming very seriously. It does not allow anyone to send scraps without any content, which means you can’t send invisible or blank scraps. Orkut determines the genuineness of s scrap from it’s contents. Before posting a scrap, it examines if the scrap is having any text, letters inside it or not. If you haven’t written anything, it’s not going to post your scrap. But applying an Orkut trick, we can send invisible or blank orkut scraps to anyone.

Orkut stylish fonts can make your profile name and scraps look better. You can make your profile name or scraps stylish with a number of cool fonts available. Orkut crush feature is designed to influence likeness between orkut users. if you are having crush on a orkut user, you can add him/her on your crush list. There is no limit on this. You can add as many persons as you want to your crush list. Like wise if other persons are having similar feelings about you, they can add you to their crush list. Sending anonymous scraps on Orkut is a pretty fun trick. You can send scraps to your friends, write whatever you want in that scrap, but your friend will not be able to catch you. Orkut scraps are displayed in a default manner in scrapbooks. If you are viewing your own scraps in your scrapbook, you can select to view more scraps in the top right of your scrapbook. You can choose any value from 10, 20 or 30. That’s good. But while viewing our friend’s scrapbook, we really miss this feature. We can see at most 10 scraps per page and have to go to the next page in order to check next 10 scraps.

But here is an trick. You can view scraps in your friend’s scrapbook even more than the limit. All you have to do is add a simple piece of code to the end of the URL.
