How to Delete, Edit or Create New Events on Orkut
Orkut events feature is designed to add more social convenience to your life. Being the social network, Orkut has started allowing people to manage their real life social events to their profiles and inform their friends about this. Now if you want to pass a new event message to your friend, simply create a new event and all your friends will get notified automatically. You can also edit or delete your events according to your schedule change. Let’s know how to add new events and how to edit or delete existing events on Orkut.
Create New Events on Orkut
- Login to your Orkut profile.
- Click on Events on left sidebar
- Now click on Create event button on the top of events page
- A new event creation form will appear. Fill up all the fields there.
- If you want to invite Orkut friends to your event, select their names at the bottom of that page.
- Hit the Save and send invitations button to create your new event and send invitations to your selected friends.
- You are done.
You can add date, venue, details, images and customize your events look. After completion, created event will be posted to your events page and anyone can see them (option is there in settings page). Now if you want to make some changes and edit your existing event, follow below steps.
Edit Existing Events on Orkut
- Click on Events on left sidebar and then click on any existing event that you want to edit.
- On the events settings page, click on edit
- Make necessary changes and click on update to save your changes.
- You are done.
Now in case you want to delete few of your events, follow the mentioned steps.
Delete Existing Events on Orkut
- Click on Events on the left sidebar and choose the event that you want to delete or remove.
- On the right hand side of that event, you can find a link saying, “remove event“
- Click on remove event to delete your existing events
- You are done.
