You will get automatic SMS reminders about your friends upcoming birthday on your mobile for free! Now, don’t miss a single friend’s birthday, after all it comes once in a year!
Orkut Friends Birthday Reminder Alert on your mobile Phone
- You need to integrate your Orkut account with Google calender for this. If you have not done this yet, follow the below steps. If you have already integrated, navigate to Google Calender and skip to step – 3.
- Click here to integrate Orkut account and Google calender. (You need to be logged into Orkut)
- Click on Settings (top right corner of Google calender page).
- Navigate to Mobile Setup option and register for their mobile service by filling up the details.
- Google will send a verification code to your mobile. Use that code to get verified and access their services.
- Once verified, Google will ask you to select the SMS format and message delivery time. Do it.
- You are done.
Now your mobile will receive your Orkut friend’s birthday reminder messages. Note that Google SMS service does not support all networks.
