Enable Orkut Keyboard Shortcuts On Your Computer

Orkut keyboard shortcuts make your life easier. Before proceeding, I want to ask you all a question. Are you an Orkut power user? Orkut Power Users means those Orkut users who have been playing with Orkut. They know all Orkut tricks and can do every other things, quickly. One big secret of those power users is that they use keyboard shortcuts on orkut. You click on navigation links to go to scrapbook, albums, homepage etc, but they click few keys on their keyboard and their Orkut profile takes them to their desired pages. Let’s know how to enable Orkut keyboard shortcuts on your computer and move steps forward to become a power user.

We mostly go to our Orkut homepage, scrapbook, community pages, friends page or profile edit page. Since we use these options very frequently, knowing their keyboard shortcuts will save our time and make our orkutting experience better. By default Orkut does not provide any keyboard shortcuts on it’s site. So, we have to use an GreaseMonkey script for this. This is mostly like the Orkut profile Manager.

How To Enable Orkut KeyBoard Shortcuts

1. You need to have Firefox and Greasemonkey script on your computer. Get them.

2. Download Orkut Keyboard Shortcuts script and install.

3. You are done.

From now on, you can use keyboard shortcuts on your Orkut profile. Here are the keyboard shortcuts.

Home : Ctrl + Shift + H
Scrapbook : Ctrl + Shift + S
Communities : Ctrl + Shift + C
Friends : Ctrl + Shift + F
Edit Profile : Ctrl + Shift + E

That’s it. Now navigate through orkut pages with these keyboard shortcuts and save your time.
